Cancer Support France is run entirely by volunteers. The organisation has expanded greatly since mid 2007 and from the previous 2 branches there are now 12 in existence. Some of these are still in the registration phase of setting up there branch but nevertheless are still looking for volunteers. In particular, if you live in the Bretagne region and would like to help we have 2 branches just getting started there. It does not matter where you live as you can always be of help if you would like to be an Active Listener or perhaps attend CSF events in the area. If you would like to help with the organisation the 2 branches are based around Rostrenen and Dinan.

Our current list of branches is:

Basse Normandie, Creuse, Charente (including the National organisation and all volunteers not attached to another branch), Deux-Sevres & Vienne, Dortdogne - Est, Dordogne - Sud, Gascony, Mayenne, Riberac(24) and Rhone - Alpes.

Other Departments:

We have had contact from a few people in the Languedoc-Roussillon region in particular around Carcasonne. If you are interested in helping us set up a branch in this area please get in touch. For all offers of help please contact Vice-President, Paul Martin, tel: 0545 303178 or email: panda16@btinternet.com for an informal chat. We can then put you in touch with other interested people in your area.

Rendezvous au Jardin - this annual event saw some 200 gardens in the Poitou Charente region open on the weekend at the end of May. 3 gardens offered to donate their takings to CSF and as a result some 1500 euros was raised. A very big thank you to Rhiannon & Richard Beech, Caroline & Peter Matthews and Angela Larmuth.  See a selection of photographs below.
