·	Service in Church or Crematorium - religious / secular

·	Music, hymns, readings, Bible readings

·	Any insurance in force

·	Banks, savings schemes, investment holdings, pension providers.

·	Accountants

·	Solicitors

·	Investment Advisors,

·	Insurance Brokers and Agents give details of policies, bonds, annuities etc. Show policy numbers and location of insurance broker/agent involved.

·	Notaire (House purchase)

·	Local contacts: neighbours, friends, Mairie

·	Family details including birth & marriage certificates - details of parents often required

·	Social Security Office (e.g. CPAM) Carte Vitale details

·	Remember that all financial resources, whether set up in France, or elsewhere, must be included.

·	Copy  it to family, executors, legal representative

·	Leave a copy with your will

·	A bi-lingual friend or neighbour

·	The Mairie

·	Will help with formal procedures, choice of funeral Directors, burial plot

·	The doctor will provide the Death Certificate -you need several copies as they will be required by all official organisations who have to be informed of the death.

·	Contacu gendarmerie if death is sudden, violent or unexplained.

·	Contact British Consulate for repatriation of body

·	Contact Insurance Co. where 'funeral plan', travel insurance are applicable

·	Contact Notaire for help with will's), inheritance tax etc.

·	Churches, bereavement listening / counselling
